Black staff found

Young male intact black SBT found yesterday (5 march) at approximately 5.45 pm by Debdale Park in Manchester. Very people and dog friendly.

He will be taken to the vets this morning and checked for a chip. Hopefully he'll be chipped. If not, Unfortunately I will have to call the dog warden, as I cannot keep him. Sad

I really hope he's chipped & can be returned to his owner!

Feel bad doing it but I just can't keep him unfortunately Sad

We think we have found this dogs owner as they have registered a dog missing to the dog warden fitting his description. They have also identified the same collar with the unique symbol, so it does sound like this his is owner.

However, the number for the owner is wrong, it goes through to a call centre Sad

the dog is currently at manchester dogs home. He has 6 days and then he is being put up for adoption.

I'm going to ring around the vets in the area the owner lives and see if the dog is registered there and if he is to pass my details on to contact me.

Fingers crossed.
