doglost - highly recommended!

This is a website some of you may have seen before but it's for if you have lost your dog or found a dog to get their details out as quickly as possible to as many people as possible, and they also have 'helpers' who do go out to help look for dogs if it's in their area.

You can pre register your dogs, i've done my two so that their details, photo, chip no. are all saved so if they were to go missing your not wasting time filling in details you just update to say they are missing and the alert goes up.

Just to show it does work a lab went missing on another site and her details posted on doglost where it was shared all over FB less then 2 days later she was found by a 'helper' and reunited with her owner!

I registered some time ago when a casual friend lost his elderly stafford bitch when a firework went off (some of you might remember it). I get emails every time a dog goes missing in my area so that I can keep an eye out for it.
