Miniature staffy litter

At around 5 and a half months old we did not think Kai our english staffy would be able to father a litter yet, rookie error ... Our Jack Russell female Zoe was pregnant.. This was the outcome, thought i would share some photos of there litter of miniature staffies...

I take it from your profile this was a few years ago then , cute pups did they all get good homes.

Fraid I'd have to agree, I'm so glad the mum is ok, must have been very traumatic for her giving birth to pups that were way too big for the design of her little body

I take it you neve mde that mistake again! Any pup that is old enough to hump is old enough to father pups.

haha yes her def learnt the hard way, i had her spayed as soon the pups had gone, and the pups were size of a normal pure bred jack russell when born i had altrasounds done to measure them inside her to make sure she would be fine to have them naturally. Sorry if ofended people with the headline "miniature staffys" I just called them that, wasnt implying they were purebred as they are far from that! haha:D

Although you made the mistake in the first place you took the correct actions by the sound of it, all cared for and in good homes so don't worry about it , lesson learnt and end of subject , sorry if 1 or 2 people may come across as a bit harsh but generally is always a sore topic

i know of a staffxjack and it does look like a mini stafford,,,,,perfect stafford coat and shape but half the size

and have you seen mini jack russels????,,,,,,they cross them with chihuahuas,,,and yes they look like mini jack with big goggly eyes,lol

Maybe, but calling them 'miniature staffords' makes them sound like designer dogs - and we have enough problems in the breed without adding that to it!
