Yeah I def would ... I have been looking in to helping staffie rescues recently.. and have just recently offered my help to South East Stafford rescue... so just waiting to see when/if they need me!..

My missus has banned me from all rescue centres 'cause she knows I am a soft touch and would bring them all home.

I have done in the past and would do again but the shelter won't let me walk Moo with there dogs, and I only get 2 full days with her. I will again in the future

I was walking the dogs at the local pound but ended up bringing one of the dogs home
I help with donating, collections etc but not dog walking at the moment - we are focusing on walking Maddie (plus I daren't in case we fall in love with another staffy on death row...)

i volunteer at cheshire dogs home, one of the most rewarding things i've ever done. have to admit due to family troubles and health i havent properly been since november, hoping to get back on it this weekend

and for anyone who would like to, find your local dogs trust or dogs home, and give them a ring, can never have enough volunteers

At the moment my work and family time don't allow me too , but it is definitely on my list , have offered a few times to do some pet transport for various rescue cases but at the moment it's been a case of right time wrong place but its the most I can offer / commit to

We already do we volunteer at our local RSPCA

I volunteer for various dog charities, home checks, walking, training etc

I looked at the rescue center where I got Storm from recently and they only take and train volunteers in the spring, I'm going to contact them and see what I can do although I'm also about to go self employed so I'll have to see how much time I have available and how much commitment they expect as they say on their web page it is very disappointing to spend the time and money to train people only for them not to bother, in effect doing more harm than good.

I was supposed to start volunteering for a local rescue center, dog walking. But they only allow volunteers on Wednesday. This is because the rescue space in held at local boarding Kennels and their insurance will only allow once a week !!! I work Wednesdays. So Im now in the process of organise a small fundraising event

I voluntered for the RSPCA once, I loved it but they wouldnt let me walk any of the dogs Theres a boarding kennels right on my doorstep so I enquired but they dont take on volunteers for insurance reasons booooooo  

I would love to but i think it would really upset me and i would rather not stress myself out like that, i take things really to heart. I do give money though and totally admire anyone who works with them.
