Well Wednesday we all went for a ramble over The Roaches, Staffordshire

Couldn't find an OS map but found a motorists guide to pub walks book that had the route we wanted to do. It led us to The Lazy Trout in Meerbrook. Returned to the pub after 4-5 hrs walk they were more than happy to have dogs in the tiled parts of the pub (not on the carpets which is fair enough) but it was nice so we stayed outside and there were lots of other tables with dogs. Food was excellent and reasonably priced for the quality and portion size

Sounds great. I tried to see if they had a web site but the best I could do was find a google link. Looks really nice :-
