Durable squeaker ball/toy
Last week I bought Samba a kong squeaker ball (it came in a pack of 3) & I thought the balls would last for quite some time, the ball itself is ok but the squeaker inside seems not to last at all. Samba goes wild for the sound of the squeaker but he has gone through all 3 balls within a week. I was just wondering if anybody knows of a tough toy with a squeaker that will last.

I've never found any squeaky toys that last for Katy, if it squeaks it has to die

Re: Durable squeaker ball/toy
You definitely want to go for the Chuckit! Balls which I've got from Amazon.
I've had them for over 2 years now, Zeus has had a proper go at them and can never go through them, they last a lifetime! I'm going to replace them soon only because the colours fading but they are still intact (and he's a big chewer).
I've got the normal versions (without squeaker):
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chuckit-17001-Ultra-Ball-M/dp/B000F4AVPA
And I've also got the one with the squeaker:
http://www.activehound.co.uk/products/chuckit-ultra-squeaker-ball
But as explained above, don't expect the squeaker to last forever, however, the ball definitely will!
They may seem expensive but they are definitely worth the money.

Gezzzz the Chuckit squeaker ball arrived today & the squeaker only last 20mins!!! oh well we can still have fun with the ball itself. I'll have to buy the Kong squeaker ball now just for the hell of it.

I'm not surprised to be honest, most squeaker toys fail right away simply because the squeaker itself is fragile and made out of very thin plastic.
However, the ball itself is brilliant and will last yonks!

Re: Durable squeaker ball/toy
I got Tyler a Nerf dog ball last week, squeaker still going very strong and he's not managed to destroy it yet, balls usually last all of 10 minutes. Think it was only £3-4 too

This toy we got in a bargain basket in maxi zoo there was no tags on it. Got it when he was 10wks old and have it ever since he loves playing tug of war with it. Best fiver spent have it 10 mths now.

Re: Durable squeaker ball/toy
But did it squeak? Katy has some long lasting toys that don't squeak!
