Disgusting , want to cry

I've just seen the most upsetting article in the paper. I'm not going to link it here as the pictures are far too upsetting and honestly I wish I had never seen them.

Basically a women was seen dragging a dead dog along Camden on Monday. She had a collie which was ok and was also dragging a black lab which had died on the walk. People stopped her to tell her and she just told them the dog was resting then actually tried to unclip the lead and walk off and leave the dog on the pavement.

It's disgusting, I just want to cry for that dog. It's was so hot on Monday and onlookers said her collie was desperate for a drink. 

The police and rspca were involved but are not going to press any charges as evidently the dog had been to the vets recently and did have an illness. Now I understand that in stressful circumstances your mind and body can just shut down and you can't think straight. I know that and its happened to me when hubby was coughing up blood, however I simply can't understand anyone treating their dog like this. When people offered her help why didn't she take it!

Surely if your dog collapses then you try to seek help or at least stay with them. You just don't drag the poor thing along on the pavement.

I'm so upset by this, so many people just do not deserve a dog.

Bizarre... there must be more to this surely. Why would anyone drag a "Resting" dog along the street

I know I can't believe the police are not investigating and why she is allowed to keep the collie. If you can drag your dead dog along who had died while you are waking them and then when questioned can try to leave them on a pavement then you do not deserve any animal.
