Great article. It's fascinating that stats show fatal attacks have gone up since the introduction of Bsl.

This country needs to look at the sample given where dog bites have gone down in Calgary but Pit Bulls have gone up!

Interesting article and the Canadian approach definitely sounds more logical.
If you look up the top 10 most dangerous breeds on the net, most will have the small nappy breeds and even labradors much higher rated than the "typey" dogs

I think most rational people know it isn't the dog but the owner in most cases but certain breeds have been tarnished over the years and that's a hard thing to shake off especially given the state of the popular press.

I do think that the Canadian approach is much more sensible
