a little info please guys n girls

hi people... basiclly i have rescued 2 staffys from a current breeder.

the female is brown/blueish silver -id say liver colour
short legged good looking staffy

and the male, is blue and to be fair looks like the american cousin of the breed lol.
(one on left in profile picture)

the conditions of me owning the dogs was that the papers was kept by the breeder. i agreed as they are too old to breed and have since booked a spay.
is there anyway i can get a bloodsample taken from vet to serch family tree also if so how much am i looking at?
its more curerossity atm.

I must say they're beautiful, we'd love to see some more pics though please would the previous owner not give you a photocopy of their papers that way you can trace their family tree?

Yes you do need papers why don't the previos owners want you to have them? Yes pics please they look gorgeous   

Sounds like a strange deal you struck there.

joint owned show dog the breeder normaly keep the papers. but if they haven't been showed it is a bit strange
