Children: yes - I have lived with children of all ages from two up and like them very much.
 
My name is Lady Lexi (just Lexi to my friends) and I am 9 years young.
 
I'm a very sprightly lady though and have lots of life and love left in me yet.
 
I found myself alone in the pound recently and facing being put to sleep. Thanks to the Kennel Crusaders who donate money regularly to keep us doggies in kennels, Senior Staffy Club were able to save my life.
 
Since then the Senior Staffy people have been able to contact my old owners from my chippy thingy and get lots of info from them to help me find the right home.
 
I'm very friendly with people - including little people. I have lived with children of all ages from two upwards and I loved them all.
 
Even though I am not used to cars, as I didn't go in one with my old owners, I was a good girl in the car when the Senior Staffy people took me to the vets. I am a good girl at the vets too.
 
I don't like dogs very much though. I will growl a bit and pull towards them if they're too close. I hate cats even more! They look at me funny so I will definitely chase them away if I get chance. I have what my Key Worker describes as pray drive. I don't know what that means, but I listen hard in the hedges to see if there are any birds or rabbits for me to chase away too.
 
I can jump really high!!!! I am a bit of an escape artist so if you want me to show you my talents and share your home with you, you'll have to have a very high fence!
 
I can be left for a couple of hours and I am not destructive. I used to sleep downstairs on my own bed when I was in my old home. When my old owners used to leave me I would sit on the window sill like a cat and wait for them to come back.
 
I am used to a bath occasionally and I am house trained and go to the back door when I want to go out.
 
I hate being cold and I don't like loud noises or people shouting or arguing. I am a big love bug really. I want everyone just to be happy and cuddle.  I do jump up a bit as I am excited to see people,
but I am very clever and my Key Worker lady thinks I would really enjoy doing some training with my new owners as I am quite obedient if told and love learning. I really like to play ball too.
 
I walk on the lead and I'm still young enough to enjoy nice long walks. In fact I would prefer a nice active family as I love to run and play. I love people and I love sofas.

Lexi will be spayed and vaccinated before re-homing, she is microchipped. She is in kennels in the Worcester area but can be re-homed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. 
However any adopter should be willing to travel to meet him where she is now. There is an adoption donation of £90 for Lexi and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
